Dr. McIlwain received her doctorate degree in Audiology at the University of Washington, and completed her externship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. She completed her undergraduate degree at Texas State University in Communication Disorders. Her prior experience involved working with pediatric and adult patients in a private practice. Mariana is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech and Hearing Association. Mariana is originally from Colombia, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Mariana is passionate about improving the quality of life of patients with hearing and balance dysfunction. In her free time, Mariana, her husband, and their dog George enjoy hiking, camping, and embracing life’s new challenges and adventures.
